Homemade Marshmallow Fondant Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 Bag of mini marshmallows
  • 2-3 tablespoons water
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • Flavorless oil 

Directions

  1. Melt the marshmallows and water in the microwave for 30 second intervals until melted.
  2. Stir 3/4 of the powdered sugar into the marshmallow mixture
  3. Mix in 1/4 of powdered sugar until it is all mixed well
  4. Grease your hands and counter with the flavorless oil.
  5. Knead for about 7 minutes until it is soft and shiny. Add in the rest of the sugar as you knead.
  6. If it starts to feel a bit dry, add 1/2 Tbsp. of water at a time until it feels soft.
  7. To keep for later, grease the outside of the ball and double wrap in plastic wrap. Put in a ziplock bag to keep it moist.
