Thanksgiving is coming up and it can be hard to try to entertain the kids and have fun games and activities for them to enjoy. Here are some fun and cute ideas that you will love. Im excited to do these activities with my own daughter this Thanksgiving!
1. Turkey Hand
- Trace your little ones hands on a piece of paper and make a turkey out of it.
- Let them color/ paint on the turkey.
2. Pumpkin Patch
I remember as a kid going to the pumpkin patch with my family and being able to pick out my own pumpkin. It was such a precious memory to have and I know your kids will enjoy it too!
3. Color Pumpkins
Have your kids paint/ color on their pumpkins they picked out. It will be very special to have them be independent by picking out their own pumpkins and drawing their own pictures (especially for the younger kids).
4. Carve Pumpkins
Your kids can have so much fun carving pumpkins (with adult supervision and help of course). They can also make different designs that they choose instead of just the traditional way of carving a pumpkin.
5. Hay Ride
Every Fall, there are many hayrides that you can let your kids go on. They might have some hot apple cider (yum), pumpkins, games, and other activities. A lot of times there are hay rides at state fairs or pumpkin patches
6. Thankful Tree
- Draw a tree on a piece of paper and cut it out.
- Draw leaves and cut them out.
- Let your kids color the leaves.
- Write on the leaves what your kids are thankful for.
- Glue them back on the tree.
